Four friends chance upon the skeleton of a lion and the three arrogant ones decide to test their power by bringing it back to life. The fourth friend who is the humble one warns them against it but is laughed at by the others. In the end, the three arrogant ones learn that sometimes common sense is more valuable than intelligence but it is a lesson learned too late. In the jungle, the partridge is forced to leave his home, a hole in a tree, unguarded in search of food because of a draught. When he comes back, he finds that his home has a new occupant—a rabbit. None of them is willing to give up ‘his’ home and the matter is taken before a wise cat. But the truth is that the cat is the wrong person to approach for help. |
