Founded in 1974 by D C Kizhakemuri, the recipient of Padma Bhushan, DC Books is the fifth largest literary publisher in India. To our credit, we are India’s first ISO certified publishing house. Our publications fall into every category from fiction, children’s literature, poetry, reference, self-help, biography, management and many more.

Mango is the children’s imprint in English brought out by DC Books. Through this imprint, we bring to children, from toddlers to teens, creative fiction and retold classics. We focus on Indian content as well as stories from different parts of the world. Our old Indian classics are presented in a refreshingly new style and bold stories about contemporary India are part of our extensive list. We have on board acclaimed authors like Anita Nair and Jaishree Misra who write for us. We have worked in collaboration with foreign publishers and already have some of their books in print.
