News ‘n’ More is a fortnightly publication for children containing news, reviews, happenings, science, crafts and interesting snippets of information. Our objective is to integrate Information, Communication and Entertainment (ICE) into every page. This unique publication comes to you from DC Books.

The News ‘n’ More Vision
News ‘n’ More is a stand-alone publication exclusively for children. Each issue will look at subjects that are of interest to children, and representing children between the age of 8 and 14. The contents are presented in a child-friendly manner keeping in view their cognitive levels. News ‘n’ More will evolve with each successive issue as we take on board your contributions and feedback. For this we encourage participation from children, teachers and parents. Our editorial policy is based on the principle of co-creation.

Information
The pages of News ‘n’ More are divided into different areas providing news, general knowledge, reviews and issues of social relevance.

News
Important happenings from around the world are presented in a simple and interesting manner that will keep children well informed. Apart from national, international and sports news, News ‘n’ More will publish local and entertainment news that will provide children with a real ‘newspaper experience’.

Doers and Shakers
This section will highlight young achievers in and around the city, state and the country. Through interviews and articles we will bring into focus young people from different walks of life who made a mark in society.

Communication
This section has pages containing creative activities, nice-to-know pieces of information, self-help, study tips and personality development.

Science
Science is an integral part of the school curriculum. Every bit of information is presented in an easy to understand, easy to try manner that will encourage children to apply the knowledge in their day-to-day activities.

Reading
News ‘n’ More also gives importance to reading and related activities. Apart from book reviews, there are also suggestions and tips for the entire family, a glossary to guide reading and add-ons for the inquisitive.

Entertainment
This is one of the most exciting sections providing reviews of television programmes, gadgets, automobiles, films, video games, websites, books, sports and everything a child would wish to know.
